Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group (UTG) participated in Summer Fancy Food Show held between 26-28 June 2016 in New York City of the USA, in which UTG took part with an info stand for the third time this year.
Exhibiting some 180,000 products, the show was attended by around 2,550 firms operating in food sector from 50 countries, including particularly Turkey, Germany, Argentina, Austria, France, Netherlands, England, Canada, Mexico and Greece. More than 23 thousand visitors toured through the three-day show.
Aegean Exporters Association realized the organization for the national participation with 35 firms, 1 chamber of commerce and 4 Promotion Groups in the show involving Tunisia as the partner country.
Particularly flour, yeast, starch and other export products included in the field of activity of UTG, as well as Turkey’s potential were promoted during the show.
Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group furnished visitors with cookbooks in English, containing recipes of sweet and salty bakery products and catalogues introducing the sector, and various baked products were offered to the visitors throughout the show. In addition, kitchen aprons, bags and baker’s sets carrying the name and logo of the Promotion Group were distributed. The shows performed by the sand animation artist Mr. Veysel Çelikdemir using flour and sand drew great interest from the visitors.
