Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group (UTG) drew great interest from the visitors at Ingredients Middle East 2016 Exhibition held in Dubai city of the United Arab Emirates between 7-9 November 2016, in which UTG participated for the second time with an info stand.
Turkish Flour Yeast and Ingredients Promotion Group promoted particularly flour, yeast, starch and other export products included in its field of activity, as well as Turkey’s export potential for the said products at the exhibition hosting participants and visitors from 120 countries.
On the second day of the exhibition, our info stand was visited by Turkish Consul General to Dubai Mr. Erdem OZAN and Turkish Commercial Attaché to Dubai Mr. Hasan ÖNAL.
At UTG info stand, the visitors were furnished with cookbooks in English, containing recipes of sweet and salty bakery products and catalogues introducing the sector. In addition, kitchen aprons, bags and baker’s sets carrying the name and logo of the Promotion Group were distributed throughout the exhibition.
The shows performed by the sand animation artist Veysel Çelikdemir using flour and sand attracted great attention from the visitors. At UTG stand, Chef Cook Emin Aydemir prepared and served bakery products such as “kurabiye”, “börek”, “poğaça”, etc. to the visitors, showing off his art.
