The 24th edition of Gulfood Fair, which is held every year at Dubai World Trade Center between 17-21 February 2019 and accepted as the world's largest food and beverage fair, was carried out. 8 main market sector provides more than 5,000 international exhibitors from 120 countries, more than 20,000 branded products to Gulfood Dubai International Food Fair in the exhibition Cereals Pulses Oil Seeds and Products Exporters Association coordinated by “Turkey Promotion Group” in “Turkey Stand" in the sixth time was achieved.National Participation organized by the Selten and the total national participation in the exhibition is 126 and individual participation is 40, totally 166 Turkish companies. In Turkey Promotion Group booth, Istanbul Exporters’ Associations and Aegean Exporters' Associations also took part. During the fair, many products were exhibited, including honey, molasses, jam, tea, coffee products, eggs, dairy products, chocolate, confectionery, biscuits, olives and olive oil products, pulses, spices, regional products, fruit juices and concentrated fruit products, packaged and prepared foods. In the booth of our Association, the brochures introducing the sector were given to the visitors and information was given about our Association with the export of the sector. During the exhibition, the kitchen apron and bags with the “Discover The Potential TURKEY” and Association logo were distributed. In addition, Turkish Simit was distributed to the visitors with the concept of a traditional pretzel car and secret recepie of Simit was provided. During the whole day, barley, lentil meatballs, bulgur pastry, cookies, dessert etc. were prepared and presented to the visitors by Chef Ibrahim Onen, accompanied by visual show. In addition, sand artist Veysel Çelikdemir performed with the sand to the visitors who showed great interest. The Chairman of the Board Nihat UYSALLI, the Vice Chairman of the Board Turgay Ünlü, and the Board members Nurettin Demirpolat and the staff of the Assoc. participated in the fair. T.C.
