The first virtual Sectoral Trade Delegation of the Central Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters Association was held on November 23-26, 2020 for Peru, Chile and Colombia. Due to the pandemic, organizations such as trade delegations, fairs, etc. to increase exports started to be transferred to digital with the support of the Ministry of Trade. In this context, Central Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters Association held its first virtual sectoral trade delegation for Peru, Chile and Colombia, among the important markets of the industry, between November 23-26, 2020. The virtual sectoral trade mission started on November 23, 2020 with the opening speeches of Mr. Nihat UYSALLI, Chairman of the Board and Mr. İsmail GÜLLE, President of Turkish Exporters Assembly. Mr. Türker KOCAMIŞ, Bogota Commercial Counselor, Mrs. Selda Nil GÜNER, Santiago Commercial Counselor and Mr. Ömer Asım AKSOY, Lima Commercial Counselor made presentations about the countries and the sector to the participants.
In the delegation that lasted for 4 days in total, Turkish companies held a total of 109 meetings with buyer companies from these 3 countries. 10 Turkish companies and 32 foreign companies participated in the virtual sectoral trade mission.
