Under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, Central Anatolian Cereal, Pulse, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters' Association organized a Food Sectoral Trade Delegation Visit to Moscow, Russia on 5-9 February 2024. A total of 8 Turkish and 29 Russian firms participated in the event and engaged in 123 business meetings, meaning each Turkish firm had a business meeting with 15,3 foreign firms on average. Turkish Commercial Counselor in Moscow, Mr. Ahmet Onur Öztürk kicked off the event with a presentation on the Russian market. After a Q&A session with Mr. Öztürk, the event continued with B2B meetings. The following day, members of the delegation attended the ProdEXPO Fair and visited the Turkish stands in the fair as part of Turkish National Participation in the event. During the next day, the Turkish delegation conducted a courtesy visit to the Russian-Turkish Business People's Association (RTIB) to engage in discussions with business people who have been living in Russia for long years on problems in exports to Russia and possible solutions. Following the visit to RTIB, the delegation visited the food wholesalers in Moscow, and each member of the delegation contacted firms in their field of business to exchange ideas.
