The 29th Gulfood fair, which took
place at the Dubai World Trade Center between 19 and 23 February 2024, hosted
more than 5,500 exhibitors from more than 190 countries. Our Association took its place at
the fair with the Turkish Food Exporters stand. A total of 208 Turkish
companies participated in the fair with National Participation. Our members
stated that there was an increase in visitors at the fair that has not been
seen for a long time, and that this increase had a positive impact on business
relations. On the opening day of the fair; Abu
Dhabi Ambassador Tugay Tuncer, Dubai Consul General Onur Şaylan, Dubai
Commercial Attaché Ersoy Erbay, members of the Board of Directors of the
Unions, TMO General Manager Ahmet Güldal and Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber
visited the TGİ stand. Gulfood, which is held every year
and is among the largest food fairs in the world; It's the perfect opportunity
to discover new products, connect with industry representatives, and discover
the latest trends and innovations shaping the future of the food and beverage
industry.
