One of the world’s largest food
trade fairs, Gulfood 2025, was held at the Dubai World Trade Center from
February 17–21, 2025. As the Sector Board of Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds, and
Products Exporters’ Association, we participated in this event under the
Türkiye Food Exporters (TGİ) brand with our info stand located at Sheikh
Maktoum Hall / M-B17. This year marked the 30th edition
of the fair, which saw a record-breaking participation of over 5,500 companies
from more than 129 countries. Deputy Director General of Export
at the Ministry of Trade, Mr. Tayfun KILIÇ, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and
Forestry, Dr. Ahmet BAĞCI, Ambassador of Türkiye to Abu Dhabi, Mr. Lütfullah
GÖKTAŞ, and Consul General of Türkiye in Dubai, Mr. Onur ŞAYLAN, visited
our stand along with our Sector Board Chair and Association Chairs. They also
met with Turkish exporters showcasing their products at Gulfood 2025. Throughout the fair, our tasting
event at the TGİ info stand, featuring a selection of our key export products,
attracted significant attention and appreciation from visitors. Sector 1 Specialist Ms. Seda
ŞAHANER attended the fair to represent our Association.
